SIGNAL STORM · a four-book anthology

Four cities. Four attacks. One adversary.

Four original techno-thrillers set across a country on the edge of extreme weather — a cyclone, a heatwave, a fog. In each one you don’t follow the story, you become one of the team, and every call you make is quietly building your capability. One patient adversary runs through all four, unmasked only in the finale. Read the books. Learn the ground truth. Sit at the tools.

Path one · the storyline

Become the analyst by living it.

It begins with a prologue — the Academy, six months before the first operation — then opens into the four-book campaign. Read, decide, and the story moves on what you choose.

Prologue · six months earlier

The Academy

Before any of the four operations, a minibus with taped-over windows drops you at a gate that isn’t on any map. Five people lean against a bench, sizing you up. Over a few days you learn how each of them sees the world — before it’s ever called cyber. They’re the people you’ll stand beside when the storms come.

The anthology · four books, one campaign
Path two · from zero

Never touched any of this? Learn the ground truth.

A separate, self-paced track that teaches how a computer, a network, and the web actually work — ten short lessons, each with a live animated diagram, taught plainly before anything is asked of you. Do it first, or dip in whenever a book names something you want to see for real.

Field Basics — your first week
Computer · numbers · the OS · networks · IP · ports · DNS · the web · encryption · passwords. No experience needed. Power on each diagram and watch the idea move.

Path three · the tools

Sit straight down at the console.

Each role in the books has a full working analyst console behind it. Skip the story and practise the hands-on part on its own, as many times as you like — the same tools the teams use inside the operations.

One campaign, one adversary

The four books aren’t separate stories — they’re four fronts of the same operation. STONEFISH — one patient adversary — runs through all four cities and is unmasked only in the finale. The Academy is where you meet the teams; Field Basics is the ground truth under every incident; the consoles are the tools the teams reach for. Read a book to feel it, take Field Basics to understand it, open a console to do it — and cross between them freely.
